Player Instructions

You’ll get started by clicking on the Zoom meeting link that was sent in the email as part of your registration/invitation. Joining via a laptop or desktop is preferred, but you can also join by phone or tablet.

Our host will start the call 15 minutes before the event start time, but if you are in the waiting room – don’t worry! They will let you in 😊

The event will kick-off about 3 minutes after the start time to allow any players to join who may be running a bit late.  During the event, you will play as a team consisting of either yourself, everyone in your household, or as a remote team with other players.

The host will walk through some housekeeping items to let teams know how we will play.

Then players will register themselves via browser to receive a buzzer.  If you are playing in pre-assigned teams, please be sure to either change your name in zoom to start with your team number, or if playing on randomized teams, listen for the host to announce your team number.  If you are playing as an individual, you will look for your name on the buzzer website.

Keep this browser open, as you will need it to buzz in!

Once everyone is registered, your host will announce the categories, point values, and the first person to pick a question from the board. 

Your host will then guide everyone through several rounds of game play, culminating in a winner!

The event will wrap-up and the host will wish you well!
