In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. 

We implement a variety of security measures when you place an order, or submit or access your information, to maintain the safety of your personal information. 

All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers. 

5.    Do We Use ‘Cookies’? 

We do not use cookies for tracking purposes but may use them for other purposes, including:

• Allowing users to resume teams during use of the Service in the case of browser closure or network connectivity issues.

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Other Social Media Integration 

Certain aspects of TriviaHub’s user experience involve integrating with various social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. We do not collect, store, or scan any posts, Twitter tweets, photos, tags, Instagram photos, Facebook posts, Facebook photos, or other intellectual property of the user or said social media networks. TriviaHub simply stores URLs to relevant posts, tweets, photos, etc. to display within TriviaHub based on permission granted by the end-user or through hashtags and/or keywords submitted by the user in accordance with said social media networks public software APIs. TriviaHub does not own or claim to own any media sourced from external social media or other networks. 

Uploaded Photos & Posts 

Certain aspects of TriviaHub’s user experience involve uploading posts and photos for use in the Social Media Wall experience and/or in other interactive experiences. TriviaHub stores both photos and posts on its servers that are sourced from the TriviaHub platform. 

7.     Promotional Communications

If you have received a promotional email from us and you do not want us to use your email address to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you may opt-out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in each email.

8.    How Does Our Site Handle Do Not Track Signals? 

Your web browser may let you choose your preference as to whether you want to allow the collection of information about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services. We honor do not track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place. 

9.    Does Our Site Allow Third Party Behavioral Tracking? 

It is important to note that we do not allow third party behavioral tracking. 

10.  Relevant Laws

Children Under 16:  TriviaHub Services are not designed for use by children under the age of 16. As such, our offerings are not directed at children under the age of 16 nor do we knowingly collect or maintain information from children under the age of 16 in our offerings.  If we learn that we have collected personal Information from a child under the age of 16 without parental consent, we will promptly take steps to delete that information.

Fair Information Practices:  The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information. 

We also agree to the individual redress principle, which requires that individuals have a right to pursue legally enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or a government agency to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.

CAN-SPAM Act:  The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.

We collect your email address in order to create an account in the system for you and to send important product enhancement updates.

To comply with CAN-SPAM we agree that, if at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, you can email us at the below address, or follow the instruction to unsubscribe that is in each of our commercial emails, and we will promptly remove you from ALL electronic correspondence.

TriviaHub is based in the United States. When we obtain information about you, we may transfer, process, and store such information outside of the country in which you reside, including in the United States.
